My Goals
I want to graduate from St. Norbert College and work in the financial advising/wealth management industry.

How I came to love finance
I have a unique path to find the career path I want, starting from my minimum wage job.
1. My first job
I detasseled corn after my freshman year of high school. I started investing a portion of my paycheck into stocks and bonds.
2. Walmart
I got a job at Walmart when I was 16 and started taking advantage of the ROTH 401K right away.
3. Walmart ASPP
When I turned 18 I unlocked the Associate Stock Purchase Plan and began putting $75 a paycheck into the stock with a 15% match. I later increased my contribution amount to $100/paycheck
4. Personal finance class
My senior year of high school I took a personal finance course and realized I had a passion for personal finance.
5. Meeting with financial advisor
The spring of my senior year I met with a financial advisor that works through Edward Jones.
6. College Major decision
After my meeting, I decided to major in finance with the goal of working in financial advising and then earn my CFP certification.
